The essentials
We use your information to respond to enquiries and deliver our services. Optional website analytics only start when you allow them. We do not sell your personal information, and you can change your analytics choice at any time.
01A clear starting point
This policy explains how Noetica Digitals handles information when you visit noeticadigitals.com, contact our team, or use our website assistant. Noetica Digitals operates from Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
Separate service agreements may describe how we process information for a client project. Where we act on a client’s instructions, that agreement and the client’s privacy notice also apply.
02Information we collect
What we receive depends on how you use the website.
| Information | When we receive it |
|---|---|
| Contact details Name, email, optional phone number, and your message. | When you contact us or request support. |
| Assistant conversations The messages you submit to the website assistant. | When you choose to use the assistant. |
| Website usage Pages viewed, referral domain, device category, visits, and interactions such as contact-link clicks. | Only after you allow optional analytics. |
| Approximate location Country and city inferred from a network address, where available. | With optional analytics. This is approximate and can be inaccurate. |
| Operational information Network addresses, request details, and error or security logs. | As needed to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. |
Our analytics records do not contain your name, email, message contents, raw IP address, full referring URL, or precise GPS location. Hosting and security providers may separately process network addresses to operate their services.
03How we use information
- Responding to you: answering questions, handling support requests, and discussing work you ask us to undertake.
- Providing services: administering an agreed engagement and communicating about that work.
- Improving the website: understanding which pages are useful, how visitors find us, and whether contact routes are working, when you permit analytics.
- Keeping the service reliable: detecting abuse, diagnosing faults, and protecting access to administrative systems.
Depending on the context and applicable law, we rely on your consent, steps you request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations, or legitimate interests in operating and securing the website. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the impact on your rights.
Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing. A newsletter request is handled separately, and you can ask us to stop marketing messages at any time.
04Cookies & your choices
Essential storage supports functions you request, such as remembering a privacy preference and securing an administrator’s sign-in. Optional analytics storage helps distinguish visits without adding contact details to usage records.
- Your preference: stored in your browser for up to 180 days, unless you clear it or change your choice.
- Analytics visitor identifier: a random browser identifier that expires after 90 days. It is created only after you allow analytics.
- Analytics visit identifier: a random identifier in session storage, renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity. Different browsers or tabs may count separately.
- Admin authentication: secure sign-in cookies used only by the site administrator.
Choose Essential only to decline optional analytics. You can browse the site and contact us with that choice. We also respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals for optional analytics.
05Providers & data sharing
We use service providers where needed to deliver website features, including Microsoft Azure for hosting and AI processing, Resend for email delivery, and Google services for fonts and spam protection. Those providers may process request information under their own terms and privacy notices.
When you use the assistant, your messages are sent to our server and the configured Microsoft Azure AI service to generate a response. Avoid entering passwords, financial account details, health information, or confidential client material into the assistant. Assistant responses may contain mistakes.
Our optional analytics are collected through this website. Approximate location is resolved using a local IP-location database; our analytics implementation does not send your IP address to an external location-lookup service. We do not enable advertising trackers or session replay through the analytics preference.
We may disclose information where legally required, to protect rights and security, or to advisers supporting a legitimate business transaction, subject to applicable safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
06Storage, retention & security
Individual website analytics records are retained for up to 90 days and then removed by the analytics retention process. Browser identifiers and administrative sessions have the lifetimes described above.
Enquiries, correspondence, and project records are retained for as long as necessary to respond, carry out an engagement, meet applicable legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention of those records depends on their purpose and any service agreement.
Providers may process information outside Nigeria, including in the regions used by our Azure services. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we seek to use appropriate contractual or other recognised protections.
We use measures such as encrypted connections, restricted administration, and access controls to protect information. No online service or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
07Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where applicable, the EU or UK GDPR, you may have rights to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information or delete information in eligible circumstances.
- Object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it.
- Receive eligible information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for future processing where we rely on consent.
- Raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority, including the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
To make a request, email info@noeticadigitals.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal records. We respond within the period required by applicable law.
Analytics records are not linked to your contact details. We may be unable to locate a particular anonymous or pseudonymous record without further information from you.
08Children & external websites
Our website and business services are intended for a professional audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through this website. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Links to external websites lead to services we do not control. Their own privacy notices govern how they handle your information.
09Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, our practices, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide further notice or ask for a new consent choice before making a material change.
